1 Promoting socio-cultural education, which aims to identify the structural and sociological underpinnings of the marginalisation of impoverished, Adivasi, and Dalit populations;
2 promoting the growth of organised constructive activity among Adivasi, Dalit, and impoverished people and their collective assertion of equal rights to land, water, forests, and means of subsistence in the scheduled regions in accordance with the Constitutional Guarantees embodied in the Fifth Schedule;
3. In order to protect and promote constitutional rights and safeguards for rural marginalised communities with regard to land, forest, and water resources and livelihoods, encouraging the formation of coalitions between community organisations, other marginalised social groups (such as landless and fishing/coastal communities), civil society, and NGOs;
4. Facilitating local livelihood-based development initiatives and entrepreneurial ventures that align with the communities' cultural, economic, and "progress" notions;
5. Promoting the active engagement and citizenship of impoverished, Adivasi, and Dalit people in the country's political process;
6. Encouraging marginalised and disadvantaged social groups such as the Dalits, Adivasis, women and rural poor to come together, cooperate, and live in harmony with one another in order to combat oppression and prejudice based on caste, gender, race, and class.
